First Draft Feedback
Introduction:
After our first draft of our movie, we let two other media study groups watch it and give us some feedback on it, one from our class period to get their take since were closer and another group from another class to get a different perspective. The first group knew our idea from the start and said we can defiantly make some adjustments to the movie by getting more shots of the main character, some foreshadowing, and better editing techniques (especially our editing apparently) because our idea is great but our excutation was bad and rushed. We let the other group watch our movie before telling them our film's synopsis. Unfortunately they couldn't fully grasp the idea of our film so after we told them the synopsis the started to understand but said the same thing as the first group and that we need to re do it and we should add a flashback to add more suspense to who the murder is and also make the bullies confront jessica and Lilith but me personally I don't think it would look. so in concluetion we are probably going to redo most of it or take new shots to replace the ones we have right now.

Post-production: Visual editing decision
Introduction:
Me and my teammate decide to use editing techniques like cut away, eye line match cut, fade out, dolly zoom and shoot reverse shot. We choose this because this way we can get different angles of the same thing, for example we used cut away techniques for the dead boy to show different areas of her body, the angle and direction she fell in, and where she died. We used the cut away to show the dead body, we used the eyeline match to show what Jessica is looking at in her sleep/vison that makes her realize that her best friend committed the murder, the dolly zoom for dramatic effect in the beginning for the villian board, fade out at the end to show the title, and shot reverse shot for when the bullies confront Jessica and lilith in the hallway. My teammate did most of the editing for the movie because Im not every good at editing but I try to help him when I can like with the dolly zoom and fade out. We used CapCut and Imovies for our editing and combining of takes/scenes.

Production: Location, location, location
Introduction:
Since our movie is a teen thriller, where else would we film other than a high school. We used our school for the whole production of the movie; even Jessica's room and the mini forest in the woods is part of our school, even though we had to angle and edit it perfectly so viewers wouldn't know.

Pre-production: Who's the Cast and Crew?
Introduction:
In the movie, Ashley Swift plays as Jessica (main Character), Zaniah Simons as Lilith (best friend and villain), Aliyah McFalane as Bianca (Mean Girl 1), Dezariah walker as Rose(mean girl 2), and Kirra as Katie (mean girl 3). Me and my teammate choose to use actors and some of our friends to help us with our movie instead of acting in it ourselves. We felt not only would it be better to stay behind the camera so we can see what the audience would see but to also better direct the actors, not to mention were both camera shy. For our crew since I only have one other teammate on my team we decied to split the work by what were good my teammate was the camera man, camera operator, editor and production manager. While I was the Director, casting director, film writer and screen writer
