Introduction:

Mise en scene is the thoughtful arrangement of scenery, stage and actors in film to give the scene deeper meaning and./or more information (foreshadowing and foresight).Mise en scene is what in a scene with stuff like props, background, the costumes, make-up, acting, color, composure, actors and etc. The careful composition of these elements constantly communicate meaning to the audience about the actors/characters, their inner lives, and the world in which they live in. Mise en scene is important to film because it helps add hidden details in the story and/or adds more details and context and moves the plot along smoother and faster. Anime is the number one most visually appealing moving media that really focus on scenery/background it also defines fantast as a genre by helping to express the film purpose by creating a specials place/ scene as well as setting the mood and tone. .The movie i did called "Demon Slayer: The Mugen Train". It's about a young boy who's whole family been murdered and eaten by a demon, expect for his sister who got turned into a demon and he has to find a way to turn her back into a human.

Reflection:

I created a presentation and broke it apart by slide based off of different types of Mise en scene from the acting to the set designs i noticed in the movie. This way each slide can go into depth on how the movie i choose ( Demon slayer) shows the different kind of mise en scene and have more space for each picture. I used the application PowerPoint on my computer at school to make this presentation, I been using this app and computer model for many years so I consider myself an expert in in compared to my peers but I still have some more things to learn about the app and it's functions still. I worked on this by myself so with my experience it was easy and fast to complete without anyone to weigh me down. I learned how to use different types of mise en scene and I would love to use it in my film at the end of the year, especially in the costumes and make up with my friends help of course. With learning mise en scene I feel like im closer to understand what is needed to make a movie.
